2019 Victorian Disability Sport and Recreation Festival

The Disability Sport and Recreation Festival is a unique community event that promotes and celebrates physically active lifestyles for people of all abilities.

The festival offers Victorians with, and without, disability the opportunity to explore and experience accessible and inclusive sport and recreation through hands-on activities and information sharing.

Featuring around 40 exhibitors and three activity zones, you can come and try different inclusive sport and recreational activities and learn about programs you can get involved with in your community.

Witness the Law Enforcement Torch Run, with up to 200 police and Special Olympics Athletes running from the Victoria Police Centre with the Flame of Hope to light the cauldron at the festival.

As an added bonus you can also watch teams battle it out in the AFL Wheelchair Corporate Challenge.

Vision Australia Radio who will be broadcasting live from the festival  and Vision Australia Radio Digital (also streaming audio online) for those who can’t make it.
